Anne and Tom: Phenology is the study of the timing of natural events over the course of the year. It follows the life cycles of plants and animals as the seasons change. The point is that life is happening all around us. Life! is right outside our doors and it is an incredible cycle featuring constant change. The funnest part of observing is seeing those changes and learning a little about how plants and animals live. We humans are part of it too and it's healthy to revisit this connection. So go outside and see what's changing; you just need your senses.
